Dear Friends, I am providing a basic report of all that we are currently doing ... this is only a sampling of how Mision Internacional RUMI is touching the lives of the people in Lima, Peru and the Andes mountain regions.
2008
November RUMI will be holding multiple concerts in November. I will also be translating for several mission organizations who are visiting in Peru.
October I will be preaching and playing music in several churches in America. Plans are currently underway. More to come.
May Just recently we went on a mission trip to the Andes mountains with my son, Junior and a pastor friend of ours with his son. It was a tremendous blessing for me to take Junior on this trip because he had the opportunity to minister with us. There was this small kid named Eric, he did not want us to go - but he enjoyed playing with Junior. We were able to minister to his family.
April We celebrated our 7th year of ministry. It was a fantastic night of praise and ministry to the community of San Juan Lurigancho.
March We had a program with a team from the United States. This ministry is called Samaritan Feet. They brought shoes for all the children and the people. What was really nice was that at the begining before giving their shoes. we as a team washed the feet of those receiving the shoes. We talked to them about Jesus. It really was an impact to the comunity.
February We held had our Vacation Bible School. We had over 250 children and teenagers attend. We even had some adults. and some adults. We showed a movie about Jesus in an animated version, after the movie there were people giving their lives to Jesus.
God continues saving lives as we continue teaching them the Word. May our Lord continue to bless you in a very special way as never before. We are always praying for you and everything you do.
