Art. Music. Drama. These are the core teaching and training tools that RUMI uses to reach the children, teens and the community. Through music, art, drama and community service, Rumi seeks to demonstrate and live out the love of God. Using dramatic presentations, RUMI seeks to share the Gospel in culturally relative forms. Music and the arts provide unique opportunities for young people. As young people develop new crafts and skills, they in turn experience an increase in their confidence and self-esteem. These new skills also provide excellent opportunities for young people to become more productive in their community.
Calling upon the leadership of musician, pastor and teacher Jose Navarro RUMI seeks to use the God-given gifts to build up, train and administer hope and healing to the neediest areas. Jose and his troupe of teenages and young adults can be seen across Peru, performing, sharing and giving 100% to the art, the music and the people.
